Whispering Cave

A dark and mysterious cave that only a select few are allowed into. Though wolves play and explore around it.

If you stand close to the mouth its almost like voices can be heard from the inside. As if they were calling or beckoning you to come in. But entering the cave without permission will get you into a lot of trouble.

So only the select few aloud in know its truths and secrets....

I approach the mouth of the cave. A gentle wind rushes slides out of the mouth brushing my fur. I close my eyes and focus on the feeling. Swinging my ears forward I listen for the delicate wispers that stir within the cave walls. Its been a long time since I went inside. Taking a deep breath I turn my head to see if Gozz made it up ok.

i watched as you climbed up before me, i take the same pathway you took. i take an eye full of the area making sure i remember my way back and to the new spot. before i new it i feel a sudden change in the air. i turn my head back infront of me as i gase at the mouth of the cave and Elidi, seeing as she waits for me. i quickly gallup over to where she is.
"sorry was taking in the scenery"

"Don't apologize, its beautiful up here." She paused a moment getting closer to the cave. "Now we can begin the ceremony. As leader of the Sacred Ashes pack I accept you, Gozz, as a full member of this pack. As Alpha my word is final, no one can dispute this fact. Though there aren't any. Gozz you must now tell the Cave your name, so you can be remembered and apart of this place forevermore."

She smiled sweetly at the male and licked the top of his head. It was supposed to be a welcoming gesture and she hoped Gozz wasn't upset about it. Eli then moved to the edge of the Cave mouth. Some wolves took this moment very seriously. Their first interaction with the Cave. She wouldn't want to impose.

i smile gladly, but the lick on the forehead took me by suprize and i sit still for just a second.
i look back right as you are by the caves entrance.
umm Elidi, how am i to address the cave. And i just say my name, thats it??

She looked up hearing her name. "Tell it your name. And if you feel you have to say anything else say that as well."

Elidi hoped this wasn't scaring him. A lot of wolves were frightened of her and her ways. She gave him another smile.

nods alright i will do so.
i turn back around looking into the cave. i stand back up as i ponder on what i should say.
...... hmmm, my name is Gozz, i dont recall my last. i am here to receive your blessing for my entry into the pack.
i bow my head and perk my ears wondering if i would hear a response.



(np, it happens to me a lot)

Elidi smiled. "The Cave does not always speak my friend, but know it knows you and it will always remember." She craned her ears forward trying to hear her ancestors. "Now there are only a few more things. First is scent sharing." Elidi ran her body against Gozz's spreading the Sacred Ashes scent. She gave an apologetic smile for invading his space a second time. "Next we run together. We'll run back to the den to check on Amala. We run together as a pack."

She loped forward in a slight jog and waited for Gozz to fall instep before she started running.

i smile back showing that i dont mind. seeing as Elidi has already taken the lead, I quickly without hesitation go right beside her. synchronizing are steps a bet.
yes, as a pack. and dont worry about invading my space. I know you dont mean too.

Giving him one more smile Elidi springs forward into a full on sprint. She takes a deep breath of the night air and lets out a howl. She was so happy. She was no longer alone in these woods. She lets her feet guide her home as her mind wanders. There was so much to do still to make this pack one of the best. Elidi is lost in thought all the way back to the den.
